REI Co-op has partnered with The Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters to elevate the urgent need to finally permanently protect America's most-visited Wilderness from dangerous proposed sulfide-ore copper mining. This is an exciting time - legal protections are being considered by the U.S. Interior Department, Congress, and the state of MN.
Learn more about the threat, the beauty of this unique wilderness, join this national movement, take action, and score some great swag! Giveaways, photo opp with a giant loon, trip planning ideas, snacks, and contacting your elected officials.
Stop by between 4 pm - 7 pm and join us at 6 pm on the covered outdoor patio for a showing of the new Webby Award-winning film Boundary Waters Traverse following Alex Falconer's 110-mile ultrarun through the Wilderness in 2021. A Q&A will be held with Alex after the film screening.
Join us for our annual Save the Boundary Waters Garden Party Fundraiser at the South Kawishiwi River Campground Pavilion to raise critical funds to permanently protect the Boundary Waters.
