In an incredible showing of support, 1,472 donors helped Save the Boundary Waters surpass our Give to the Max Day goal. Because of your support, we raised over $300,000 on Minnesota's biggest giving day! This puts us in a stronger position to protect this precious Wilderness in the year ahead.

Thanks to our paddling community stepping up, we made our fundraising goal and unlocked an additional $150,000 through a matching gift challenge. This outpouring of generosity is critical for funding our conservation efforts, from legal action to grassroots organizing to spreading awareness.

The dollars raised through Give to the Max Day will directly help us fund the work to safeguard these pristine waters. These efforts in 2024 include:

  • winning our key lawsuit next year
  • traveling to D.C. to fight against Rep. Stauber’s bills that threaten the Wilderness and mobilize grassroots opposition to them
  • ramping up our important science and water quality program
  • advocating for key Boundary Waters bills
  • and growing the movement by spreading awareness about the threat of sulfide-ore copper mining pollution.

While Give to the Max Day is over, our work to protect the Boundary Waters is not. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation, sign up to volunteer, or join us at an upcoming event
