Join Save the Boundary Waters for guided hikes across Minnesota — Ely, the Twin Cities, and Duluth — as we come together to protect the pristine Wilderness we all cherish. Kick off your morning with light breakfast treats, then explore scenic trails alongside fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
All experience levels are welcome, and families (including leashed pups!) are invited to join the fun.

When: Saturday, June 7th (various start times depending on location)
Where: Ely, Twin Cities, Duluth (Pick your preferred location below!)

Whether you paddle, hike, bike, run, or simply revel in the beauty of the Boundary Waters, you can help defend it. Join us for National Trails Day to celebrate Minnesota’s wild spaces in ELY! The event begins with free pastries from 8:00 to 8:30 AM at the Secret/Blackstone Trailhead, where you can fuel up before choosing your adventure. You can join one of two paced guided hike groups, covering 1 to 5 miles of rugged but beginner-friendly terrain. If you prefer to explore on your own, bring a paddle or bike to extend your day in the Wilderness.
