Adventure and Wilderness Protection

Is your business a member of 1% for the Planet?

You can help protect America’s most visited Wilderness area forever, for everyone.

Save the Boundary Waters (and parent organization Northeastern Minnesotans for Wilderness) is a wilderness and public lands conservation organization on the front lines protecting a vast landscape of pristine lakes and forests critical for climate resiliency and beloved for uniquely accessible recreation: the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness along Minnesota’s northern border.

This magnificent wilderness is threatened by toxic mining proposals that would leave the waters and forests forever polluted.

This magnificent wilderness is threatened by toxic mining proposals that would leave the waters and forests forever polluted.

We are working hard to protect this area through science and litigation, policy advocacy at all levels of government, community-building and attention to access and diversity, and broad outreach and education. Our strategic, multi-pronged approach has already achieved historic protections for part of this wild landscape.

How can we partner?

The vast majority of our funding comes from individual donors, so philanthropy from businesses that care about the planet and sustainable communities makes a huge difference for our work.

Beyond funding, your partnership helps grow the future of outdoor recreation and conservation through working together on events, awe-inspiring content, and other creative collaborations that benefit our supporters, your employees and customers, and our planet.

Download our Business Partner Packet for more details on our work, reach, and benefits of partnership.

Invest in adventure and wilderness protection. For everyone. Forever.
