Come learn, connect, and take action to help preserve one of America’s most treasured wilderness areas—for everyone, forever. This event features a short presentation on current threats, plus an opportunity to write letters to our elected officials and, while supplies last, take home a yard sign to show your support.

Brainerd Takes Action is a community event for everyone who cares about outdoor recreation, fishing, camping and clean water. You’ll hear updates on the Boundary Waters Wilderness protection work from Associate Director Sam Chadwick and more about new water quality research from Conservation Biologist Andrew Gardon. Come learn the tools and tips you need to engage in advocacy for the lands and waterways you care about. Refreshments provided, and stickers and lawn signs will be available! The event will be held at the Northland Arboretum.
