Join thousands of runners from around the globe while making a difference for the Boundary Waters at one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors! The perfect way to cross off a bucket list race and protect Canoe Country.

The Save the Boundary Waters fundraising minimum is $2,500 for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. 

All fundraising for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon must be completed by October 30, 2027.  

To apply to join our team, please fill out the form linked above. You can include as much or as little information as you'd like, but we will prioritize candidates that demonstrate connection to the Boundary Waters or other Wilderness areas. Tell us why you are excited to run for Save the Boundary Waters! 

The runner application will close on January 31, 2027 at 11:59pm CT. Selected runners will be notified the following week. Once the team is confirmed, applicants that were not selected will be notified.
