Iggy Perillo is a product of the Midwest who gets nostalgic about cornfields. She has been teaching travel skills and leadership to travelers through both summer canoe/backpacking expeditions and winter dogsled/ski expeditions in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness since 1999. Along the way, Iggy earned a master’s degree in experiential education and a grade 5-12 teaching license as well as a host of other safety and technical certifications. At the moment, Iggy is a seasonal nomad, spending summers on the lakes of northern Minnesota and instructing character development through adventure programs during winter in Portland, Oregon. Iggy works in the wilderness in order to change the world.
